This strip introduces AJ. I started trying to recruit more friends to write reviews for the music website and since at the time we kind of viewed the comic strip as a mere spin off of that website, people who did work for it became characters in the comic. This didn’t always work out so great from a character development standpoint. Also people tended to write a couple reviews, realize that they weren’t getting paid for their work and then never write a review again.
AJ was the first of these kind of characters and we had some fun abusing him.
