Dear Friends,
In all of my infinite wisdom I allowed The Office Comic website to go offline for several years. As you may imagine this had a very detrimental affect on our website traffic. You might say that it killed it…completely. Now that we are back online and beginning to publish two years worth of archives of the comic, you can have a big part to play in helping more people discover The Office Comic.
The best way for you to do this would be to spread the word about The Office Comic through social networking sites, links on your own websites, and word of mouth. At the bottom of each post is an array of links to social networking sites that allow you to publish a link directly to them. It would be awesome if you could do that from time to time.
Some of you out there may be over-achievers and it’s for people like you that we have placed ads around the site. Clicking on an ad every now and then will help cover the costs of maintaining this website. And beginning on May 15, 2010, every Saturday we will post a Steaming Pile of Ads, for your clicking pleasure. We’re posting it on saturdays so as not to interfere with the regular comic schedule.
Lastly, I have placed a donate button at the top right hand side of the website. This is for you folks who just love The Office Comic so much that you just want to throw money at it. I won’t stop you from doing that, in fact I encourage it. But in reality there are far more deserving and needy causes in the world that could use your money, so please consider any number of reputable charities to donate to before donating to The Office Comic.
